Project 365 - Day 79
This is a terrible picture...I apologize. We had Tapas at a jazz bar on Saturday night and the food was so good. So good I forgot to take a picture until halfway through...and with my cell phone. If you ever get to Savannah, check out Jazz'd.
Project 365 - Day 78
Don't be a hater....we ate at Paula Deen's restaurant in Savannah on our weekend trip there. It was basically the whole reason I wanted to go there. I absolutely LOVED it in Savannah. The Lady and Sons had really good food. I think if you are a tourist, you will like it a lot more than those that live there. It was super yummy!!

Project 365 - Day 73
I made Strawberry Shortcake from scratch today with our goods from the Festival yesterday. I turned these: (The one on the left is a bit larger than a normal strawberry. I put it next to the other so you can see how big the Strawberries are that we got at the festival)

Project 365 - Day 72
We headed out to the Strawberry Festival on Saturday. It was so nice (a bit windy) and the sun was shining. We had a great time stuffing our faces. I even had a deep fried Twinkie. Yum!! This was the only crappy picture I got before my camera batter died. Picture FAIL.

Project 365 - Day 70
Books read this year so far...4. I have 21 books to go, including this one. I started it the other day and I'm having a hard time getting into this one because it's written from a different perspective. Hopefully it catches on so I can finish. (It's called Fourth Comings..since I cut the damn title off).

Project 365 - Day 68
Today I baked banana bread. So good! I got it from a recipe posted on Elizabeth Anne Designs. Very tasty.
Project 365 - Day 67
I did it. I ate beef. For the second time in about 4 years. Now that I love to cook, I realize I'm missing out on a ton of stuff because I don't eat pork or beef. I can't give in on the pork, but once a month or so, I will eat beef so I can try out a new dish. Last night I made Maple and Soy glazed Flank Steak. So yum. Thanks again Cooking Light! It was great with a nice glass of wine!

Project 365 - Day 64
Don't mind my messy room. This is my new bedding I bought yesterday. I love it! I am also buying new dark espresso furniture for the room as the bedding as dark brown trim. We don't like FL, so we are trying to make our home a little more comfortable!

Yay, look what came today! I PPH Barnes and Noble. Cheap books and free 3 day shipping! I also would like to find a used bookstore around here since I plan to read a lot more.

Project 365 - Day 61
Since I think we are going to be stuck here in FL for some time to come, I decided I will organize and redecorate my house. I'm starting with these and they are awesome. Just five of them took away a ton of bulk from my pantry. Hopefully I'll be able to do the whole pantry with them. They aren't cheap though!
