Seriously? You suck.

For those of you who don't know, J was hit by a car on Friday night on his way home from work on his bicycle. He is a hard core cyclist, so he commutes to and from work 2-3 days per week. He was riding down the street in the bicycle lane, and the woman who hit him was coming from the opposite direction. He said she pulled into the median illegally (because it wasn't really the medium, it was the turn lane for the opposite direction), and she just sat there. He said he kept watching her to see what she was going to do because she had no turn signal on or anything. He said just as he got the driveway for the parking lot on his right, she turned left right in front of him. He couldn't stop in time. He hit the passenger back side of her car, flipped over his handlebars, and hit his face on her trunk and then rolled off her car onto the ground.

I got a call about 6:10pm to not freak out, but he was being taken to the hospital by ambulance because he was hit by a car. The police were on the scene, so a report was written up (which we have yet to see). I met him at the hospital where he had x-rays taken. He was pretty banged up, but luckily, nothing was broken. He was very sore and still is. He has pain in his shoulder and hip as well still.

Well, fast forward to Monday. I called the police dept to get the information for the driver since J was taken away without being given this info. She gave me the information and I gave it to J. He called her insurance to open a claim. They said they would call him back in 24 hours to get the details, etc. Well, when the call came in, it was that this dumb broad hasn't had insurance since Sept of last year. They gave us the info for her broker, so we called him and he said she had just signed up for insurance Fri night....about 1 hour AFTER the accident.

The woman is a stupid dumb bitch. I'm so upset about this. Filing false information on a police report is a crime is it not? Dumb bitch knowingly lied to the police, lied to us, and I guess has no respect for anyone in the world but herself.

I called OUR insurance company who is going to cover our medical bills because we have uninsured motorist coverage. However, they will not cover property. We called our home insurance company who said yes, they would pay for our property AFTER our 3k deductible is paid. Seriously? This woman hits my husband and pays no consequences. She doesn't have to pay for our medical, our property....nothing. I'm so MAD I could scream.

Hello lawyer...you bet your ass I'm calling a lawyer. I'm sure this broad makes 5.00/hour and has 10 kids to support (why she couldn't afford insurance), but that's not my problem now. We don't have the money to pay for the damage that SHE caused, so why should she get off that easy? The bicycle alone is 3k, not including all of his gear that was damaged. I don't know what we are going to do, but we'll figure it out like we usually do.

Good job Wal Mart.
