Californians....I need your help.

As stated in my last post, we are trying to eat all things Californian before we move. So far we've had In n Out, Wahoo's and I plan to go to Pinkberry many many times. What else is there here that you don't find any where else? I'm drawing a blank. Any suggestions are appreciated mucho.

I can tell you this much....I CANT WAIT to get to FL and eat at The Waffle House and Bob Evans. So excited!!!

Are we there yet?

No. We aren't. Well Tel, it's official, we are going to be neighbors in a sense. We are moving to FL the last week of April. I've had a good run here in CA and I will miss it dearly, but it's a new adventure! We were originally looking at Orlando, but J has changed his mind and wants to live on the Treasure Coast (think east side of FL). It's a ways away from Orlando but he will be doing business there often, so I'll come up to visit you Tel! ;)

My money saving tips are sort of out the window for now. (I promise to get back to them or keep posting them as I hear them) but right now I'm trying to get as much CA as I can (ie Pinkberry, etc) and I'm spending money on it all. On a positive note, there is no state income tax in FL so our income will go a lot farther and I will not need to work right away. Yay! So stoked about that. I can move us and enjoy the time and unpack and settle in while J works. We are also able to pay off a huge chunk of debt in the process, so overall, it's a good thing! I just started my job 2 months ago, so that part sucks. I hate having to quit already, but it is what it is. Not much I can do about it.

I'm so looking forward to this move. My mom is coming out to help me tie up loose ends and we are going to take a cross country trip and drive out there and stop at cool places along the way. The only sad part about this whole thing is that we have to move when we were supposed to be in Japan. :( We have to postpone that trip, but I think we are both ok with it because the move is equally as exciting. I will miss all of the friends I've made here in CA, and look forward to making more! Please come visit me there!
