What's new? Not much
I've been doing a lot of reading lately, mostly due to the fact that I joined a book club. There have been 2 meetings so far. However, I only made it to the last one. I'm looking forward to the next one because it is a great group of women. As you can see from my choices above, I prefer lighter reads.
Other than that, I haven't been up to much. I know...boring right? I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing about it, but my drive to work is the cause. I leave my house at 5:30 am to get to work by 7, and I leave work at 4pm only to get home 6pm. I then get to eat dinner, and start getting ready for the next day because I get up so early. I get the coffee pot ready to go, get my clothes ready, etc the night before. So...I have about an hour to myself every night. It sucks. I have no life because of it. I don't want to go any where or do anything during the week. Oh well, hopefully this will change soon so I can quit complaining about it. The job affords me our beautiful home, so it's worth it in that sense.
I went out for dinner and drinks last night with a few girlfriends and I really miss doing that all the time. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!! So thanks ladies! Tomorrow I get to go shopping, which I never get to do! So, I'll have to post on my bargain finds!
