JT really IS bringing sexy back......

Lori and I ventured out to the JT concert last Monday night. After a few drinks along with JT (doing a shot of tequila to the left), we had a really good time. I was very excited to go because I heard he put on a great show, and everyone was right. I really enjoyed myself. And NO, we were not the oldest people there. Mr. JT has grown up quite a bit, and in fact, it wasn't what I would call a "kid friendly" show. The F bomb was dropped a lot, and the drinking and half naked girls grinding on him....hmmm...if I had a kid, I wouldn't take her. We had a great time!

RIP VeggieRuth Blog....

Well, I'm still a vegetarian, yay me. But...my veggieruth blog was just sitting there doing nothing. So I deleted it. Even this blog has been sitting there doing nothing. I have so much going on in my life, that I dont even have time to write about it!

I plan some day to try to get back into a daily entry. :) Not that I have a lot of readers, but for those of you who do read it......I promise to be better.....later! :P

WFDS (Sunday)

J and I cooked dinner on Sunday night, and we made Penne with Giada's homemade vodka sauce. This recipe calls for her simple tomato sauce, but in her cookbook it requires her marinara sauce. We made the marinara sauce from scratch (which takes an hour and twenty minutes) and then we made the vodka sauce out of the marinara sauce. It was sooo yummy. And, to top it all off, we had a ton left over that we were able to freeze, and now we'll have homemade sauce for a long time to come! It was super easy and I was able to use my new food processor! woohoo
