Project 365 - Day 59

Sorry, camera phone picture, just like the kitty pictures. I've been trying to exercise more (so my 6 dozen cookie eating ass doesn't expand to 3 times it's size), and I took the dog for a long walk today. This is what the main street by my house looks like. It's nice when the sun is shining and the rain stays away.

Project 365 - Day 58

Some more kitty action. These are our Twilight kitties. This is Carlisle and Emmett and the striped one (a non Twilight kitty is Peter). Edward, Bella, and Jasper have all been adopted already. I just love them!

Project 365 - Day 57

At least now I'm caught up. As we sit and wait to find out our fate yet again, J and I eat. A lot. We've eaten 6 dozen cookies in a week. Yep, you read that right. SIX. It's just the two of us. So, I try to cook healthy meals to make up for it. I made Szechuan tofu over rice thanks to Cooking Light. It was really good. If you have the mag and make this recipe, my suggestion is to add some water chestnuts for a little more crunch.

Project 365 - Day 56

Another throw back picture...as if FL wasn't bad enough, I look at these pictures and long to be in SoCal again. ::sniff sniff:: This was the view from our back yard. Le sigh.

Project 365 - Day 55

Another old picture to make up for my lack of a life right now. This was taken Christmas '08 in Minnesota outside my brother's house. Brrrrr.

Project 365 - Day 54

This was taken last month down in Miami. I wish I was there right now with a good book and a stiff drink....and maybe a Xanax. March cannot get here fast enough.

Friday, February 26, 2010

This week has been completely boring. Ahhh, life in FL. I have no pictures. I'll go find some old ones to post in place of them. Wow...we REALLY need to get out of here.

Project 365 - Day 53

Love this picture. This is one of our kittens that was up for adoption. He slept like this all day. lol

Project 365 - Day 52

We went to a motorcycle track day yesterday for J. This is what his friend Scott's bike looked like halfway through the day. Ruh roh raggy. Not pretty. Luckily, Scott was fine.

Project 365 - Day 51

I finished my last book rather quickly. So I now have 2 down, 23 to go. I am currently starting this book as my 3rd read of the year. If you've read it, what did you think of it?

Project 365 - Day 50

Tivo enjoying the sunshine and a nap.

Project 365 - Day 49

Finally...some sunshine! Enough with the rain!

Project 365 - Day 48

Looky looky what I got in the mail today....jealous? I know you are. I love this magazine so much...you have no idea. I literally gasped when I pulled off the cardboard mailer to reveal this colorful, summery cover!! Swoon!

Project 365 - Day 47

I'm in trouble. I have a goal to read 25 books in 2010. I only have 1 down and we are already halfway into the second month. I should be on at least book 4 by now. Yikes!! I have some serious catching up to do....starting with this book.

Project 365 - Day 46

Need I say more? Oh wait, I'll say J ordered 6 damn boxes...for the 2 of us. Ugh. Now I'm going to have to exercise. Thanks honey.

Project 365 - Day 45

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!! I don't believe in going out and spending tons of money to tell my husband I love him. We made our own fondue at home and watched a movie. He did, however, get me red roses...my favorite flower. :D

Project 365 - Day 44

We made espresso fondue for Valentine's Day dinner and I had to find this first. I searched all over and finally, one liquor store had a few small bottles.

Project 365 - Day 43

My view today. This is what FL looks like every day. Isn't it the damn sunshine state or something?

Project 365 - Day 42

A bad pic of the new haircut. I look like a dirty hippie with a sweatstain under my arm...but I promise it's just a shadow. Fo real yo.

Project 365 - Day 41

Yes, more food....I told you life in FL was boring as hell. Today we watched the Hurt Locker (good movie) and we made baja fish tacos with mango salsa. We had leftover batter and onion so we made homemade onion rings.

Project 365 - Day 40

Homemade (yes, from scratch) chicken noodle soup. I know these pictures aren't overly exciting, but maybe they'll inspire someone to cook?!

Project 365 - Day 39

I forgot to take a picture this day...so instead, I'll show you my adorably cute husband in uniform.

Project 365 - Day 38

Today I made heart healthy cherry chocolate cookies. So good and only 94 calories!

Project 365 - Day 37

I made homemade chipotle bean burritos for dinner. I love all the color in this picture!

Project 365 - Day 36

On the menu: Shitake mushroom, Anaheim pepper, and Gouda quesadillas. Sounds odd right? But it's Yum!!

Project 365 - Day 35

We had some kick ass pizza today at The Mellow Mushroom. If you live in Orlando, I highly recommend this place. And Chantel, if you are still out there...this is right by our place (and your new place). Woot!!

Project 365 - Day 34

Dinner last night was sweet potato chicken curry. So good!! Once again, Cooking Light saves the day.

Project 365 - Day 33

The game sweeping the nation....Bananagrams. Is bendy even a word?

Project 365 - Day 32

The handsome boy.

Project 365 - Day 31

Love these lamps. My favorite object in our house. Orange is a new color for me....loving it!

Project 365 - Day 30

I'm the free sample queen. This is the latest to arrive. I love anything free. I'm like a bird....cheap...cheap...cheap.

Tisk tisk

I have loads of pictures. I promise to post them tomorrow (for all two of you who read this blog).

Project 365 - Day 29

Fresh herbs are the best! I made homemade lasagna again. So good. If you aren't a fan of the Pioneer Woman, become one! She has amazing recipes.

Day 29 with 4 to go and no pictures to show for it. My camera battery died and I have no excuse...sheer laziness. I'll take some pictures to make up it this week. We have friends in town, so I've been busy entertaining as well.
