Remember....

With a MOO MOO here, and.....

I ordered a MOOPocket from Spatgirl to hold my new MOO cards. It arrived almost instantly!! Thank you so much Splatgirl!! And thank you for the extra surprise for J!! He has been out of town for a week, but gets back today, so I'll be sure to give it to him! That was very sweet of you!! :) It is perfect. I LOVE the fabric!

And if anyone had any doubts about how cool MOO cards really are...please take a look at the article in my Self magazine that came the exact same day as my MooPocket. HA! :P

ARRRGGGHHH

We have farking ANTS all over our kitchen. I havent had an ant problem since I was a kid living in MN. Any idea how to get rid of them? Ant traps arent working. We sprayed poison and it kills those ants and they dont return to the area, but they just pop up some where else. I have granite counters, so I dont know what I can put on them? Any ideas out there? OMG...I HATE ants!!!!

Yes, it's Wednesday...

And I have nothing to show for What's for Dinner Wednesday. I had to work 12 hours today and they provided pizza for dinner. There were layoffs today at work. Completely unexpected. No one saw it coming. Today was a little stressful. I'm getting tired of round after round of layoffs no matter where I work. I've managed to survive them all thus far...so we'll see what the future brings. So...hopefully next week I'll have something to post for dinner!

Update...still waiting for my item I ordered. Should be here soon I hope.

We had red peppers stuffed with corn and mozzarella from a vegetarian cookbook my sister in law got me for my birthday last year. J made it and it was REALLY good!! The pictures don't look all that appetizing...but it was really good!

By the way, there were bread crumbs and tomatoes in the mixture. The topping is bread crumbs and paprika.

Now on to the cute story!! I didn't want to copy Splatgirl and Knit-Whit...but I had mentioned last Wednesday to him and told him I put our dinner on here for What's for Dinner Wednesday. So he went grocery shopping this week and planned out our meal schedule. He then said "I'll make the stuffed peppers on Wednesday so you can put them on your blog." How cute is that, that he remembered about What's For Dinner Wednesday and was thoughtful enough to plan for it for my blog!! What a sweetheart. I love him!

I *heart* Wells Fargo

We've been dreading paying our Supplemental Tax Bill which is due on May 31st. Of course, they let you pay in 2 installments....but even the first installment was more than I wanted to spend on anything, let alone taxes. Well, we got a letter from Wells Fargo mortgage stating they now pay supplemental tax bills and not just annual property taxes and they paid our supplemental bill out of our escrow account!! We don't have to come up with the money!! Woo hoo!!! That is so awesome, i could just kiss them!!!

On a blah note...I had a root canal this morning, and felt no pain at all in the tooth. My jaw hurt really bad which was giving me a nagging headache...but no tooth pain. Well, I accidentally bit down on something hard today and now I'm in agony. Ugh. Damn, why did I do that? It would have been perfect by tomorrow....stupid idiot!! No more flax seed cookies for me! Yum, I know....J picked them out. Actually they were pretty good. They are made by Kashi. I recommend them, just not after a root canal.

And for those of you who remember last year, we went to Ruth's Chris. My favorite restaurant...and we are going again tonight!! I cant wait! Granted, I've never been there as a vegetarian, but I'm sure their fish is just as awesome as their steak! Can't wait!!! Hopefully the two weirdos aren't there this time!!

This is what I received today!! The red and pink roses are from J. Tomorrow is our two year anniversary. He even included 2 red roses...1 for each year of marriage. Awww...isnt he sweet!! The purple flowers are from my Mom and Dad!! They are beautiful! You cant tell from these pictures, but it's a gorgeous arrangement!! Thank you everyone!! You are all awesome! :)

What's new.....

Not much. Worked out tonight on the first day of girl week...NOT FUN. J is lucky I even went with him. Work was hectic and everyone was in a bad mood. It's supposed to rain here...which will pretty much fit my mood lately! On the plus side, my 2 year anniversary is the Saturday!! In usual R&J fashion....Ruth's Chris here we come!! I cant wait. We went there after we got engaged and every year for our Anniversary (last year) ha...and now this year. I'm on a mission to eat at all of them since it's my favorite restaurant. I've eaten at the one in Minneapolis, Atlanta, San Francisco, and Walnut Creek. There are TWO by my house now!! Ok, so that is boring...what else. Nothing! I've been trying to read my book club book for going on what, 2 months now? Ugh. It's 19 Minutes by Jodi Picoult which eerily is about a school shooting. We started reading it a few weeks before the VT incident. Craziness. Hmm...anything else random? I have the cutest husband on the planet. I want to start scrapbooking and knitting some more to keep me busy without spending money because I have a bunch of stuff here to work on it again. I'm watching Who's Wedding Is It Anyway and sometimes it makes me sad and wish I could have a real wedding....but then I start to think about how much these weddings cost...and I'm SO glad I didn't spend money on one!! Vegas was so much fun and I wouldn't change a thing!!

Ok, so that is enough rambling on about nothing.....hope everyone is having a great Tuesday night...I cant believe it's already 9:30...where does the time go?
